How permanent property exchange works. When you exchange or trade a property, you are basically buying someone else’ property while they buy yours. It is two separate transactions taking place at the same time where Party A purchases from Party B and vice versa. Both closings should take place on the same day and it may be helpful, but is not necessary, to use the same title (escrow) company. Each party obtains a new mortgage, if necessary, and all previous mortgages are paid off at closing, if necessary.
To search for properties simply fill out the simple Search box on the Homepage and click Search. Keep in mind that the less criteria you put in, the more results you will get. Once you receive your results, you will notice all the properties with premier placement on top of the search results. If you filled out the “What I am selling” portion of the Search box, you may receive Two-Way Matches in your search results, which means, that the person selling the property you are looking at is also interested in purchasing the property you have for sale. Once you find a property you like, you can print it, save it, share it or even contact the Seller directly with an inquiry or an offer.
To list a property, first you will have to sign up for a free account, then simply fill out the property entry form (Submit a Property), upload your photos, choose your upgrade options (you can also skip all upgrades and proceed with the free basic listing), and your property will be in our system in no time available for people to view. Once you enter your listing, the listing will expire at the end of a 6 month period, at which point you will be required to renew your property, still for free!
